Earlier this year, we saw social media and the 75 blow up with buzz surrounding one of what is now one of the premier projects out of VA, YNSTM2 by Doe$ki.
One of the most notable aspects about the project is Doe$ki’s ability to provide a full length project of turn up/crank music, but not bore the listener. The project consists of a healthy 14 tracks, with Doe doing a very good job of switching booming production styles, and utilizing a variety of flows to keep your attention. Some of my favorites are Spazz Out, Pop Me A Perc ft. Young Crazy, Childish Games, & of course Jack Moves (we need a motion picture for this one). Within these tracks alone, Doe$ki really illustrates what makes him standout and far apart from much of the competition is his lane. Raw energy, catchy ad-libs, and unique quotables jump out from this project, making it one of my personal favorites of the year so far.
The producer list for this project alone can gather interest, with the likes of Night Treez, Andre Palace, Marq Beezy, Ready Rock James, Era Hardaway, & more! This powerhouse producer list, coupled with what Doe$ki brings to the table make YNSTM2 a project you can’t sleep on.
The iPM camp really opened the flood gates this year beginning with this project, with subsequent releases from Doe$ki and other members making it look like a real take over year for the Mobb. With this project quickly becoming a cult classic in VA, I’m excited to see what visuals and moves Doe$ki plans to make, & of course anxiously await for more music.
