Sonny Ward tells the critics to “Quiet” down with new single

Woodbridge standout, Sonny Ward, made noise earlier this year with his his visual for  “Help Wanted“, which has hit over 24K views and still climbing.

He’s an artist that’s been a bit of an enigma, not releasing the tremendous flood of music one would expect after such a break out hit, but has been killing features on tracks such as Swap meat with 90wyse & Dirty Tango with fellow Woodbridge native, Keynote Illidge. He’s also definitely not an artist you’ll necessarily find all day scrolling through your Twitter timeline, or trying to perpetuate some lavish image on Instagram.

One thing is for sure, Sonny has been working incessantly on perfecting his craft, rhyme scheme, and unique style which fuses wittiness, drug infused lyrics, with a high octane voice and drawl to match.

His latest release, Quiet, is a standout single which highlights his continued growth as an artist.

This one really illustrates Ward’s ability to switch it up, dancing over the jiggy production from producer GRAYSOUL, as he drops a lot of bars and the emphatic lines like “they throwing nails in my back..then they ask if we can build?!”.

“Wake up, boy you got work to do, get up off yo ass!”…& listen to this new Sonny Ward.
